Secrets of Atlantis Slot Review
Dive deep into Atlantis and escape with its hidden treasures with the Secrets of Atlantis slot machine from Net Entertainment. With a number of bonus features available, this game is a ton of fun to play.
How to play Secrets of Atlantis Slot Machine
This is a 5 reel, 4 row slot machine. It boasts 40 paylines. The Secrets of Atlantis slot machine has been designed by NetEnt. This means that right off of the bat you can expect something that is brilliant. The minimum payment per spin is 20p with the maximum being £200 per spin.
The theme of this game is gorgeous. It is all based around ancient Greek mythology and, of course, the lost city of Atlantis. It has a very mystical theme, and we must say that we really enjoyed listening to the sound track in the game. While the theme didn’t really stretch beyond just awesome pictures and fantastic sounds, we are glad that it is there. We are sure that you will be too!
Perhaps the only main thing that you will need to be aware of during ‘normal play’ is the fact that the slot machine awards ‘both ways’ i.e. left to right and right to left. This is brilliant as it is going to greatly increase your chances of winning. Of course, this is going to be a little bit confusing at the start, but after a couple of wins and when that cash starts to pile up, you are going to love it.
For the most part, you will be just spinning the reels on this slot machine. There are no special features which are going to pull you out of the game and have a bit of a play in weird bonus rounds. They occur during natural gameplay. This means that the slot machine is ideal for those who want something that is a little ‘back to the basics’ but still want to have a ton of fun playing!
Bonus Rounds & In Game Features
There are two features in this game in the game that you should be on the lookout for. If you have ever played a slot machine before, then none of this is going to be too crazy to understand:
Nudge Wild: in this game, the mermaid is your wild. She will appear either fully or partially on the screen. When she appears fully, she acts just like every other wild.
She can replace symbols and get some epic combinations. When she appears partially, that is when the fun happens. If she appears partially then she gets nudged either up or down the reel (depending on where she appears). This will result in the whole of the reel being turned wild which, as you know can lead to some pretty crazy combinations.
Highlight feature: this feature randomly appears. It causes the three middle reels to be highlighted on each spin. The more highlighting that goes on, the more chance you have of some pretty crazy wins in the game!
Secrets of Atlantis Slot on Mobile
One of the things that we really love about Netent is the fact that they are able to craft mobile games that we really want to play. There are a number of companies out there who just don’t get it. They put out a mobile game, sure, but it just never looks good on a mobile device.
It suffers from graphical glitches or slowdown due to laziness on the part of the developer. Net Entertainment never do this. They optimise their games perfectly so that they play well on even the oldest of devices. The Secrets of Atlantis slot machine is not an exception to this rule. It plays wonderfully well!
Summary – What Do We Think?
We do not like the fact that there is no real free spins feature on the Secrets of Atlantis slot machine. Regular readers of our reviews will know that we love them.
That being said, the gameplay in this slot machine is more than enough to justify a few spins of the reels. It is cheap enough to jump into, it is cheap enough to play and, of course, you are going to have a magical time with the theme. For us, the Secrets of Atlantis Slot machine is highly recommended.
You can play the Secrets of Atlantis Slot machine on any website which offers Net Entertainment games. There are plenty of them, so you shouldn’t have any issues, but why not take our tips of the best Netent Casinos below.
